Our members are some pretty awesome folks! Two of them are publicly speaking about their lived experiences to shine a light on what it means to them be transgender men in Kentucky. We consider them to be lovely resources for transmasculine individuals and allies alike, so join us in reading along.

Adrian S. (He/Him)

Adrian is a coffee shop manager by day, poet/editor/educator by night. He identifies as a queer transgender man. He has a master’s in philosophy, and has published a book of poetry (‘Transitional Object’) with The Operating System: a queer-run press based in Brooklyn. Originally from North Dakota, Adrian now lives in Louisville with his partner, Hallie, and their two cats, Wally and Flower.

Kasen M. (He/HIM)

Kasen is a social media specialist by day, board member/blogger/up-stander by night. He identifies as a straight transgender man. Kasen serves on the Board of Directors for the Louisville Pride Foundation and the Young Professionals Association of Louisville. He also serves on the LTM Leadership Committee. Kasen was recently honored as a 2019 Louisville Business First Forty Under 40. Kasen was born-and-breed in Louisville. His blog is intended to offer a window into his trans experience as he navigates life, dating, work, and family in a bible-belt state.
